The National Youth Cancer Service team at Canteen, in partnership with COSA, are pleased to welcome you to the 2024 YCS Community of Practice Meeting at the Novotel Darling Square, Sydney from Thursday 22 - Friday 23 August.

The Community of Practice meeting is an opportunity for clinicians from across the country to connect with one another who share the same passion towards providing the best care and support to AYAs diagnosed with cancer.

This year's theme is Where's your head at?.

With a strong focus on the health and mental well-being of clinicians and AYAs, this year's meeting will provide a range of strategies and practical tools for self-care including panel discussions, case studies and presentations that address coping with the ongoing challenges of delivering care to AYA patients.

There will also be presentations on Genomics and a panel discussion addressing Lymphoma cancer care treatment.

In addition to the meeting, Special Interest Group meetings will take place during the afternoon on Thursday 22 August. These are intimate sized groups designed to encourage practical discussions and are an excellent way to learn from each other's experiences.

An absolutely wonderful and invigorating experience. So thankful for the opportunity and truly am taking away so much more than I could have expected from 1 and a half days.

Presentations were all relevant to my practice. Being in the same space as other AYA clinicians to share experience and ideas to improve practice.
